↿ FOURTY FIVE ⇂ | ⇃ خمسة وأربعون ↾ Composed by : Dana Al-Najjar Video by : Dana Al-Najjar ↓↓↓ بالعربي ↓↓↓ Fourty Five? Why Fourty Five? This piece came to life one evening after a long time away from my piano, after a while of feeling restless and lacking any sort of motivation or inspiration to write/compose. Anytime I would attempt to play anything my fingers would direct me to the same 2 notes, and so the challenge began. The first part of this piece represents my unlimited thoughts where my right hand has the freedom, meanwhile my left hand plays the same 2 notes maintaining order and structure. Gradually my left hand switches roles with my right hand allowing it to slowly make sense out of the overwhelming right hand thoughts. Beauty emerges through the chaos as my hands learn to make use of the overthinking and live in harmony... and so applies to life. Now where did Fourty Five come from you may ask... every key on the piano is assigned a number from 1 to 88, and the 2 notes this whole piece was created from are keys 40 & 45. Therefore I chose to call it FOURTY (Not Forty) Five as a way to highlight both keys. جورج النجار هو أحد المدرسين في إعزف. بدأ جورج تعلم الجيتار عام 1982 في البرازيل حيث كان يحاول استراق السمع للكوردات و مقاطع الموسيقى و الأغاني و عزفها في سن السابعة عشر. أسس و اشترك في أكثر من ١٣ فرقة موسيقية منها "Dead Sea Fishing Club", "Black Iris", "Kamal Musallam's trio", and "Jorge Al Najjar Trio". منذ عيد ميلاده الأربعين قرر جورج أن يكون صوت جيتاره كصوت فرقة كاملة كما تشاهدون في الفيديو. لدى جورج طريقة بارعة في تبسيط التعلم على الجيتار و قد طور منهجا خاصا ل إعزف izif.com للمبتدئين. Jorge learnt the guitar in the streets of Brazil in 1982, stealing chords and excerpts of songs and pieces as fast as his eye and ear could catch. Founded and played in more than 13 bands including "Dead Sea Fishing Club", "Black Iris" ,"Kamal Musallam's trio" and "Jorge Al Najjar trio" . Since his 40th birthday Mr Al Najjar decided to make his classical guitar sound like a whole band as you can see in the video.
